Prof. Zvi Artstein | Mathematics and Computer Science Faculty

 

Prof. Zvi Artstein’s research concerns the mathematics of differential equations, control, and optimization - areas applicable to diverse physical, industrial and economic systems. He joined the Weizmann Institute in 1975.

In 1989 he became Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science and served in this capacity until 1997. In 1998, he was Chair of the Council of Professors.

From 1999 to 2002 Prof. Artstein served as Vice President for Technology Transfer, and in 2005, he once again assumed the position of Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science. Prof. Artstein holds the Hettie Heineman Chair of Mathematics.
