Yaakov Naan
Yaakov Naan joined the Institute in 1996. His past occupations include planning high- and low-voltage electricity networks for the Israel Electric Corporation Ltd., as well as establishing and managing data and information processing units. He was also instrumental in introducing computerized publishing to Israel. From 1985, he has filled senior managerial positions in the newspapers “Ma'ariv”(associate director-general), “Yediot Ahronot" (deputy director-general) and "Telegraph" (associate director-general). Naan has a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology (1966), and an M.Sc. in Business Administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (1970).
