Seventy two high school students from 15 countries recently visited the Weizmann Institute to participate in the Dr. Bessie F. Lawrence International Summer Science Institute camp, which took place for the 40th consecutive year.
This four-week program combines hands-on intensive laboratory work, field trips and lectures from Institute senior scientists. The students are also encouraged to lead seminars on subjects of their own choosing and give written and oral presentations on their work. Their evenings are filled with social activities, and the students also get the opportunity to tour Israel.
