Teachers’ Turn to Learn

 

This year, 27 leading science educators from top high schools and institutions in North America, UK, Singapore, Europe and Israel visited the Davidson Institute of Science Education to participate in the 3^rd Sheila Schwartz Family International Leading Science Teachers program. The program included a variety of lectures, workshops and activities designed to give the teachers the opportunity to learn about new curriculum materials and innovations in science education, in addition to planning future collaborative projects with other participants. Dr. Zahava Scherz heads the program with the assistance of committee members Dr. Dvora Cohen, Leah Mandler, Dr. Mira Kipnis, Miri Oren and Dr. Yehuda Ben-Hur.
