Prof. Dan Yakir was elected a member of the International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme’s Scientific Committee.

 

Prof. Yosef Yarden was elected a member of the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities.

 

Prof. Ada Yonath was nominated Honors Program Lecturer at New York University School of Medicine; received the 2008 Linus Pauling Gold Medal from Stanford University; and was named George E. Palade Distinguished Lecturer and Gold Medal recipient at Wayne State University.

 

Dr. Tal Alexander received the Krill Prize for Excellence in Scientific Research.

 

Prof. Ilya Averbukh was elected a fellow of the Optical Society of America and of the American Physical Society.
