The Avraham Agmon Excellence Scholarship was awarded this year to 12 outstanding Perach Tutorial Project tutors during a ceremony held at the Davidson Institute of Science Education. Perach Director Amos Carmeli noted that this annual ceremony, which is in its 19^th year, presents the perfect opportunity to thank all the Perach tutors, who do tremendous work in a spirit of modesty and motivation, helping children from underprivileged backgrounds to realize their potential and blossom into motivated individuals.

 

In 2008, on Israel’s 60^th Independence Day, the Perach Tutorial Project was awarded the most prestigious prize in the country, the Israel Prize, for lifetime contribution to the state and society.
