Prof. Shimon Ullman: "I expect the day will come when we can write a computer program that will learn on its own how to use vision to understand the world. The computer will be able to identify the situation it 'sees' through a camera (say a dog, ears back and tail up, facing a cat with its back arched) and to anticipate the outcome of the scene."

That was a real adventure – one that exposed me to the possibility of doing science from morning to night. Since then, science has held more than one surprise for me. I'm awaiting the next adventure."
